ZAKA Construction delivered a workboat for the aquaculture sector in December 2023, designed to meet the demands of daily operations at aquaculture facilities.

The vessel is 19 metres long and 6.3 metres wide, offering a large usable deck area and the necessary equipment to meet the operational requirements of the client. The vessel was built in Tanagra, Greece, for ZEUS S.A.

The superstructure is designed to provide 360° visibility, with its elevated position allowing the operator a wide view of the deck and the surrounding area during operations, enhancing the vessel’s safety and operational functionality.

Focus on Safety and Efficiency

To withstand intensive use and demanding weather conditions, the workboat was built with reinforced steel plates on the bottom, sides and deck. This robust construction contributes to the protection of the cargo and the safety of the crew, even under demanding working conditions.

The vessel reaches a minimum speed of 13 knots, enabling fast transfers to and from aquaculture facilities and helping to reduce travel times while improving the overall efficiency of operations.
