ZAKA Construction completed the construction of the ARETHOUSA workboat for the aquaculture sector in July 2022. The vessel was designed to meet the daily operational requirements of aquaculture facilities.

The workboat is 15 metres long and 6 metres wide, providing an efficient solution for carrying out daily operations. It is equipped with marine-grade equipment and was built in the Chalkida area, Greece, for STRATOS S.A.

The superstructure is designed to provide 360° visibility, with its elevated position rising above the level of the cargo and allowing the operator a wide view of the deck and surrounding area during operations, enhancing safety and efficiency.

Focus on Safety and Efficiency

The workboat was built with an emphasis on safety, durability and operational efficiency. To withstand intensive use and demanding weather conditions, the vessel incorporates reinforced steel plates on the bottom, sides and deck.

The robust construction contributes to the protection of the cargo and the safety of the crew, while the vessel’s design has been developed to improve operational performance and support the demanding requirements of aquaculture operations.
