Construction of the “ARETHOUSA” Aquaculture Workboat
ZAKA Construction successfully completed the construction of the “ARETHOUSA” in July 2022, a workboat designed for the aquaculture sector.
With a length of 15 metres and a beam of 6 metres, the vessel provides a cost-effective solution for carrying out daily operations at aquaculture facilities. It is equipped with marine-grade equipment, meeting the specific operational requirements of the vessel.
The vessel’s design provides 360° visibility from the superstructure, which is positioned at a height above the cargo level. This design feature contributes to improved safety and efficiency during daily operations.
Focus on Safety and Efficiency
The construction of the workboat places particular emphasis on safety and efficiency. To provide protection against potential rough handling and adverse weather conditions, the vessel was constructed using reinforced steel plates on the bottom, sides and deck.
This robust construction protects the cargo while contributing to crew safety, providing the durability required for daily operations in the aquaculture sector.
